Croc Type Man

I wanted to do my version of Killer Croc.  I always liked the more crocodilian looking versions of the character so that's what I went for here.

Human Centaur

I really just intended to draw basic figures with round heads in various poses and it turned into this.

Cats

These are studies of a few cats, also for the same comic as the old lady.

Cat Lady

Here are some concept sketches I've been working on for a comic I hope to put together this year.

These are studies of an old lady's facial expressions.

Inked Thanos

Another Thanos, this time done with the brush pen.  I also tried to make his chin bigger.

Zombie Head

This is my sketch of a painting by Tony Sandoval. Once again a great way to test the detail rendering I can do with the 2H leadholder.

Angry Bald Man

Another sketch using the 2H.  I can spend time rendering detail without sharpening the pencil every 2 minutes.

Farrah Fawcett

A caricature I did with a 2H lead holder.  I've found this pencil to keep a sharp edge for a long time, and you really have to press down hard to darken any areas of the drawing.  I'll keep practicing with the 2H and post more drawings where I used it.

Bizzare Faces

A collage of weird faces, I like just flowing from one drawing to another on the same page.

The Pusher

Delicious and Nutritious, something doesn't sound right...

Winter Penguin

Continuing a series of birds in hats, here's a penguin ready for winter in her warm toque.

Captain Avocet

I love drawing birds in hats, these aren't new sketches but I hope you like them!

Tube Head

I'm really not sure what I was going for here.  I just kept drawing and adding stranger and stranger details to the human head.  This is a common way for me to draw, I don't have an end result in mind when I start and I just keep going until I think it's done.
